Adria Airways Cancellation Policy - Cancel Flight Ticket

Cancellations are cumbersome if one isn’t confident about the airline’s cancellation and refund policies. And with the advent of Covid-19, cancelling a flight has become even more complicated with the changes the airline’s introduced. But you don’t have to worry anymore as here you will get all answers to your Adria flight cancellation queries. Let’s start!!

Adria airways 24-hour cancellation policy

The first thing to understand here is that the 24-hour policy is applicable only on the flights that are booked from the United States. The policy states that passengers are free to cancel their tickets without any cancellation fee within 24 hours of booking the flight provided that the tickets were booked more than days before the departure. But if the ticket was booked within 7 days or more before the departure and cancelled within24 hours then a cancellation fee of $100-$200 will be charged from the passenger based on the route and cabin class.

For all flights that are booked from locations other than the US, 24-hour cancellation rules do not apply. The EU regulations will apply under which, you have to pay the cancellation fee irrespective of the booking and cancellation time of your flight. But if the flight was cancelled from the airline’s side within 14 days or before the departure then the passenger will be entitled to a compensation of €600 per passenger.

Adria airways refund policy

A refund will only be provided if the flight is cancelled as per the 24-hour cancellation policy. Moreover, if the airline cancels your flight due to major reasons then compensation of €600 will be provided under such situation. But you will not be compensated if the flight is cancelled due to out of control factors such as bad weather or Covid. The maximum that’s possible is the airlines can allow flight changes but no refund will be provided under such situations.
