8. Once the Xbox Live subscription is cancelled, you get the refundable amount in your account.

What Happens when you Cancel Xbox Live Subscription?

When you cancel your Xbox Live subscription, you lose access to all the benefits of Xbox Gold membership. Also, the auto-renewal of your membership gets off and your Xbox Live membership is not auto-renewed for the next year.

If you cancel your subscription within 30 days of subscribing, you get a full refund in your bank account.

How to Turn Off Auto-Renewal for your Xbox Live Subscription?

If you have subscribed to the Xbox Live account, you must be aware that the subscription gets auto-renewed each year. If you wish to end up the subscription after the subscription period is over, follow these steps:

1. Go to Xbox's official website and log in to your Microsoft account.
2. Go to the Profile section.
3. Click on your Subscription.
4. Click on the Xbox Live Gold tab.
5. Click on Manage under the Xbox Live section.
6. Click on the “Change” option and choose “Turn-off Auto-Renew”.
7. This will turn off the auto-renew option for your Xbox Live subscription.
